What is a Marginpreneur?
Marginpreneur thrives at the margins, turning limitations into opportunities. Originating from underserved and overlooked communities, these entrepreneurs navigate funding gaps, cultural barriers, and limited networks with extraordinary resilience, creating jobs, promoting inclusive growth, and championing social justice.
The word "Marginpreneur" was coined by Dr Eunice Sari and Josh Tedjasaputra, MSc, QPR, from the words "Marginalised" and "Entrepreneur" in 2020 after they faced many challenges when they proposed the idea to many stakeholders to create a more inclusive space and opportunities for underrepresented entrepreneurs.
Five years after Australia's borders closed in 2020, Marginpreneur is significantly shaping the Australian economy. Their impact is incredibly profound here in Western Australia, one of the nation's most culturally diverse states.

Marginpreneur offers various educational programs, including entrepreneurship boot camps, digital skills academies, leadership labs, modular education programs, specialised workshops, masterclasses, and pre-accelerator programs to equip innovators with the business fundamentals, financial literacy, digital skills, and leadership capabilities they need to succeed. The curriculum is tailored to meet diverse learning needs and delivered in accessible formats, including online, in-person, and hybrid options.
